Abstract
- The article offers the author's insights on issues related to the decision by Henrik Ibsen to left Norway in 1864. According to the author, Ibsen left his country and traveled to Europe due to the hostility or misinterpretation of his dramatic writings. The author mentions several works written by Ibsen after he returned in Norway in 1885 including "Ghosts," "A Doll's House," and "The Wild Duck." The author also relates on the development of Ibsen's writing during his travel abroad.
