Abstract: An epilogue to the issue is presented that reflects on topics covered in the journal. It discusses the publication of political cartoons that feature sports-related themes, including a cartoon depicting an individual in a museum listening to a soccer game rather than participating in a tour. It discusses the popularity of soccer and notes that cartoonists such as John Leech, Richard Doyle and William Makepeace Thackeray all produced works that were related to soccer. Additionally, the article discusses sport as a part of mass culture.
