MUNDE, Paul Fortunatus.

A reference entry is presented for Paul Fortunatus Munde, gynecologist and surgeon, of New York. He was born on September 7, 1846 in Dresden, Saxony in Germany and received his medical degree from the medical department of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in March, 1866. He then went to Europe and volunteered at the Bavarian service as assistant surgeon to serve through the war and returned to the U.S. after the war to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology.
