Abstract
- The article discusses a study on the changes of N-acetyl-aspartate serum (NAA) levels in healthy controls (HCs) with respect to the HCs' age. It says that the study implemented the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) with stable isotope dilution and the multivariate analysis of variance to define the association of age and gender in serum levels. Results of the study reveal the connection of reduced NAA serum levels with ageing.
