Abstract

The article discusses the importance of people-reading knowledge to succeed in a competitive marketplace. Body language, it says, is an important aspect through which salespeople can read signals of power, disagreement and boredom in the client. It notes the need to give the prospect a level of comfort for an effective and positive interaction while keeping in mind that selling is basically about the fulfillment of the needs of the prospect.
