- A letter to the editor is presented in response to the articles “Complete and Prolonged Suppression of Symptoms and Consequences of Alcohol-Dependence Using High-Dose Baclofen: A Self-Case Report of a Physician,” by O. Ameisen in a 2005 issue of "Alcohol and Alcoholism" and "Efficacy and Safety of Baclofen for Alcohol Dependence: A Randomized, Double Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial," by J. C. Garbutt and colleagues in a 2010 issue of "Alcoholism: Clinical & Experimental Research."
