The article presents an economic outlook for Croatia in 2011. It says that the Croatian economy will increase by 1.7%, despite the -0.7% growth of real gross domestic product (GDP) in the fourth quarter in 2010 (Q410) as estimated by the Bureau of Statistics. It also maintains that exports will be the primary driver of economic growth and that consumer spending is still strained by negative real wage growth and high unemployment at 19.6% in January.
