Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the 1996 research conference by the International Community Corrections Association (ICCA) held in Austin, Texas. The conference focused on major correctional issues such as dealing with driving while intoxicated offenders, dealing with adolescent offenders and using restorative justice tenets with crime victims. David M. Altschuler's paper examined the trends and issues in the adultification of juvenile offenders while Doctor Larry Motiuk's paper examined the value of systematically assessing offenders risk.
