HEAD AND NECK CLINIC. Lymphoepithelial cyst of the palatine tonsil.

This article presents the case of a woman who developed lymphoepithelial cyst of the palatine tonsil. Computed tomography revealed a thin-walled cystic mass in the patient's tonsil. General anesthesia was used in the excision of the mass. Histopathologic analysis showed that the cyst was lined with benign squamous epithelium with prominent lymphoid infiltration.
