Killing day-old chicks? Public opinion regarding potential alternatives.

The article presents a study that investigated Dutch public opinion on the acceptability of possible alternatives to the killing of day-old chicks. The study discussed various topics including the willingness of participants to pay premium for eggs and chicken meat. The used discussions in so-called focus groups and conducted a public survey through computer-aided personal interviews to gather opinions.
