Abstract

The article reports on the problems of air pollution in the U.S. It cites the move of spurs industry to search for better devices to reduce air pollution like Chemical Construction Corp., which is developing instruments for detecting and measuring airborne contaminants. In addition, the Public Health Service provides nearly 10 million dollars to local states and regional units wanting to set up control agencies, study pollution problems, and improve existing controls.
