Abstract

The article comments on the negative effects of the inefficient investment moves of the entrepreneurs in the U.S. in the 1960s on the economic trends in the stock market in 1970. According to the author, the investors in the past failed to carefully assess the financial state of their investments which threatened the future stability of the market. He mentions that the stock market cannot attract financiers since it has problems improving their confidence regarding the efficacy of the country's monetary, fiscal and economic policies.
