Abstract

The article offers the author's insights on the utilization of needle felting to develop narrow vertical designs in tapestry. The author says that creating thin vertical designs can be created through weaving a piece from side to side. However, she states that this technique may not work in some situations where horizontal layers of color are significant. Moreover, she suggests needle felting, where a specific needle is used to minimize the mistakes while warping, and provides several examples.
