Abstract
- Using the content analysis of newspapers as a primary research methodology, this paper examines the effects of and adjustments to a major tornado episode in Kentucky. Adjustments are classified into pre, during, and post-hazard, and into technological and social/behavioral categories. A range of possible preventive and corrective measures is suggested.
