Abstract
- The article focuses on the metal detecting done by the author and his friends on a field that the author discovered through the research tool Google Earth. One problem met by the detectorists was that the crops were already two inches high, limiting them to the tractor tyre track lines. Initials finds include Georgian buckles, medieval fragments, Hans Krauwinckel jettons, military buttons, Roman coins, and Roman bracelet pieces. Succeeding finds include Georgian coins, lead bullets, a denarius of Septimius Severus, and denarius of Caligula and Agrippina.
