Abstract
- The article offers information on the decrease of bond rates in the U.S. in May to June 1977. It states that the observed decrease in bond rates was considered to be caused by the strong liquidity in the financial community especially with the foreign investors, insurance firms, and pension funds. It mentions that the decrease can be also induced by the lighter condition of corporate bond offerings which were based on the move of companies to have little borrowings.
