Abstract

The article focuses on the ruling of Minneapolis, Minnesota Judge Earl Larson for a case involving air carrier Northwest Airlines in which he ordered the carrier to discontinue its antistrike tactic. The case has been filed by the labor union Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks. The labor union seeks that the carrier be ordered to drop its practice of urging strikers to leave their unions. Larson agrees with the labor union that the carrier has committed violations of the Railway Labor Act.
