Abstract
- This section offers information on the activities of the History of Economics Society in Japan. The universities that conducted reading of papers were the Keio Gijuku University and the Chuo University at the Kanto branch, and the Osaka City University and the Ritsumeikan University at the Kansai Branch. Details about the influence of Henry George on the classroom teaching of economics in Great Britain and the U.S. are presented. Also noted is the Economists' Papers Project launched by the Duke University Manuscript Department.
