Abstract

The article reports on the international economic relation between Finland and the Soviet Union. Finnish President Urho Kekkonen announces that the Russians have agreed to buy more than 400 million dollars worth of Finnish machinery, textiles, and dairy products annually for an indefinite period. In additions, Russians offer to negotiate 10 or 12 unidentified projects that could produce additional millions of dollars in exports for Finland.
