The paper titled The Aging Populations -- A Transitory Phenomenon, by Franz Xaver Kaufmann, discusses the statistical and sociological explanations of the changes in age distribution of European population in the 20th century. The paper titled Monetary Analysis and the Postwar Rise in the Velocity of Money in the U.S., reviews some aspects of the postwar rise in the velocity of money in the U.S. and offers views concerning the rise in the corporate manufacturing sector in particular. The paper titled Changes in the Structure of the Swiss Money and Capital Market, by R. Lang, explores the major changes in the Swiss financial structure since 1927-1929 from the point of view of an experienced banker.
