Abstract
- The article reports on the effects of the union strike at the plants in Ford Motor Co. Ltd. to the archaic system of industrial relations in Great Britain. It mentions that the annual numbers of strikes in the manufacturing industries has tripled its number, which includes unofficial strikes accounted with 95%. In this regard, Ford negotiates a deal with a novel labor package to reduce the number of wildcat walkouts but such deal backfired resulting to bitterest strikes.
