Abstract: Information about a meeting of finance ministers of the world's 10 richest nations held in Stockholm, Sweden in April 1968 is presented. The event highlighted the international monetary system plans to build by gold camp's chief of staff General Charles de Gaulle. It relates a plan agreed by 10 finance ministers after bargaining that would create up to 2-billion dollars a year of special drawing rights (SDRs).
