Abstract

Chapter 19 of the book "History of Italian Philosophy," Volume 1, is presented. It highlights Italian philosophers who followed Aristotelianism. In the 15th century, a group of philosophers wanted to confirm the truths of Platonism to have a concord with Christianity. Pietro Pomponazzi was considered to be the sixteenth century's greatest Aristotelians. Meanwhile, Cesare Cremonini viewed reality in Aristotelian way by considering prime matter and God.
