Matsushita: A nontraditional youth movement in management.

The article reports on the possible management changes in Japanese company, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Despite a reported increase in net earnings and revenues in its fiscal year ended November 20, 1977, the company is experiencing deep internal problems of an aging, bureaucratic management. Also affecting the internal problem are the structural recession in Japan and expert problems from increasing protectionism and a revalued yen.
