Policies to control global shortages.

The article focuses on various agreements on international rules of access to supplies in an attempt to fight against global shortages of materials. The Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) assured that they will not make any actions related to oil crisis that can threaten imports and exports. Meanwhile, the U.S. plans to propose an international code for export policies under the General Agreement on Tariffs & Trade (GATT).
