Abstract
- The article offers information about Industrial Arts Institute (IAI) of Japan is testing quality of various foreign and domestic products to tell Japanese manufacturers where they need to improve. It states that IAI is a phase of Japan's growing power whose aim is to overcome the stigma of shoddiness. It adds that all companies of Japan are not permitted to use IAI designs and it retains patent rights to its products.
