Abstract
- The article reports on the latest developments in the U.S. coal industry as of January 15, 1979. It cites the formation of the new company called Energy Transition Corp.(ETCO), which intends to develop a plan that would convert low-sulfur coal into methanol (wood alcohol) to be used as substitute to water as the carrier in coal slurry pipeline.
