Abstract
- The article discusses research on perspectives of researchers regarding collective and community co-authorship in conducting community-based participatory (CBP) indigenous research. The study conducted phone interviews with Canadian university researchers on how they conduct indigenous community research and the CBP approach. Results showed overarching themes from the analysis including requirements for shared authorship with individuals and community partners and methods of acknowledging research contributions.
