Abstract

The article presents news briefs related to business in the U.S. The Commodity Credit Corp., a government agency, has stopped selling loan stocks to dealers in an attempt to prevent further decline in the prices of turpentine and rosin. According to a report from the Rubber Manufacturers Association, exports of tires declined slightly in April 1939. It is said that 1938-1939 will be a banner year in coffee consumption in the U.S. as Americans are now drinking more coffee.
