Abstract

The article focuses on the miniature train business of Miniature Train Co., considered the largest producer of miniature locomotives and cars for public and amusement parks. It says that the business started as a hobby, when current Miniature Train president P. A. Sturdevant built a train for his three-year-old son. It states that the company makes two sizes of trains, namely F-16 and G-12, and operates roughly 30 trains in stores across the U.S. at Christmas and nearly 10 at Easter.
