Abstract

The article discusses the article "Clarifying Conflict of Interest," by Howard Brody. In the article the authors offer their opinions on several facts and assertions that are contained in Brody's article, on recommendations on conflicts of interest that were released by the U.S. Institute of Medicine and on how conflict of issue policies related to the field of medicine should be evaluated.
