Abstract: The article offers a look at federal regulations being imposed by the U.S. in 1943 for several industries. AA-1 preference ratings have been assigned to 100-octane aviation gasoline plants instead of the AA-2X ratings. Owners of idle resistance welding equipment are required to register such equipment with the U.S. War Production Board (WPB). WPB prohibits the use of steel drums for packing fruit juices, molasses, or corn syrup.
