- The article focuses on the failure of the news regarding the trends in the U.S. bond market that signal a bull market to boost bonds. It states that bond men project that there would be no bull market while the trend of bond prices are upward, with more than 25 points increase on Dow-Jones industrial average within one week. It says that the move of the U.S. Federal Reserve to cut the discount rate has attributed to the failure of transforming bond price increases into a full bull market.
