Abstract

The article discusses the decision of the U.S. War Production Board (WPB) in cooperation with Quartermaster Corps of the Army and the Bureau of Supply and Accounts of the Navy, to designate certain manufacturers for officers' ready-to-wear uniforms and specify retailers, aside from Army and Navy outlets, for its sale. The government will retain complete control of the materials and textiles, rationing cloth supplies to tailors.
