Abstract
- The article discusses an experiment which investigates that thickness profile of glass panels using all-fiber digital heterodyne interferometry. The experiment reveals that the frequency variation from acoustic optic modulator is 100 megahertz (MHz) and the glass mirror's average thickness is 25 millimeter (mm). It proposes the use of a heterodyne interferometer system with the transmission and reflection ways for measuring thickness differences for the front and rear surfaces of the sample.
