Radar: Useful Peacetime Tool.

The article reports on the peacetime application of radar in the U.S. Radar is described to replace the sense of sight-piercing fog, cloud, smoke or darkness. Some of its peacetime applications include in the field of air and water transportation to make navigation safe and continuous. Radar is also expected to have particular utility in regulating air traffic over congested airways and near airports. Statistics of radar equipment deliveries to the Army and Navy are provided.
