Abstract
- The article presents a comparison of two types of blown-in insulation, cellulose and fiberglass that can be used for attic rooms. Thought both perform better than batts and are less expensive than spray polyurethane, cellulose and fiberglass blow-in insulation are neither perfect, according to the author. Fiberglass and cellulose cost 49 cents to 1.14 U.S. dollars and 42 cents to 99 cents per square foot to insulate. Also given are insulation tips and instructions.
