More Money for Mother Bell.

The article reports on the authorization given by American Telephone & Telegraph Co. (AT&T) to sell 200 million dollars worth of new 21-year debentures and 600,000 shares of new stock in December 1949. This will reportedly bring to 3 billion dollars the sum of new securities Mother Bell has sold since the war. It is stated that the latest offering will be straight debentures that cannot be converted into shares and which will likely be offered at bidding on January 31, 1950.
