Country Conditions.

This article assesses political risks affecting business in Slovakia as of October 2010. It highlights the country's comparable flow of foreign direct investment (FDI) per capita. However, it warns about problems encountered by investors in the transparency of the regulatory system. In addition, the article describes some trade agreements signed by Slovakia with other countries. An overview of the country's geography, recent history and social conditions is given.
