Abstract: A political risk report for France as of September 2010 is presented. The country's overall standing in the Global Political Risk Services (PRS) Risk Index is provided. Highlights of the forecast include a low risk of turmoil in international business, 1.8% real gross domestic product growth and an inflation rate of 1.8% for 2011-2015. A 50% probability of center-right coalition is anticipated. The report includes an overview of France's investment and trade climate, geography, recent history, social conditions, and relations with other countries.
