Chinese Power Plant's Power Trip.

The article reports on the selection of Emerson Process Management to install its Ovation expert control system at two power-generating units at the Anhui Tongling power plant in Anhui Province, China. The contract to automate the units was awarded by China Northwest Electric Design Institute. The installation is part of the facility's Phase VI expansion project. The applications of the Ovation system are discussed.
