Abstract

The article discusses ways on how retailers could communicate to consumers their environmental initiatives behind store brands and eventually win over eco-motivated shoppers. It highlights the role that packaging and packaging information could provide to retailers in communicating the environmental impact of each product. Information is also provided on how loyalty cards could pave the way in tracking and communicating with sustainability-minded shoppers.
