The article presents a number of suggestions for mentoring pre-service teacher librarians and what information they must be given in terms of their ability to use educational technology. The author feels that teacher librarians should be comfortable with a variety of publishing platforms such as wikis and blogs. It is also suggested that they should be able to use computer applications for electronic books and to use Internet bookmark management tools. Other suggestions involve widgets, intellectual property, and using Google Custom Search.
