Abstract
- The article looks at the period of growing advertising budgets and increasing competition between advertising agencies in the U.S. in 1953. In the liquor industry, distillers like Seagram, Schenley and National Distillers have boosted their respective advertising budgets as a result of the oversupply of whiskey. In the appliances market, some of the companies that intend to launch their biggest advertising campaigns are Reynolds Metals and Dictaphone.
