The article discusses social and sexual Relationships of lesbians. A study was conducted on thirty white females homosexuals living in New York city, Their occupation covered a large number of fields. some of the respondents report going to gay bars for lesbians. Like heterosexual couples and male homosexuals these women tend to run in cliques, with a few intimate and trusted friends. There are not much differences among Lesbian lovers in social status. There is a good deal visiting around to the various homes of friends and close cliques of friends usually include the lovers. most of the social relationship of these women involve other lesbians. Lots of differences were reported among homosexual gays men and women one of which is that the majority of the lesbians lived with another woman, either lover or roommate whereas almost all of the men lived alone; of those who did live with another man it was with a friend, not a lover, There appears to be less promiscuity and greater fidelity among Lesbians than among male homosexuals.
