Abstract

The article reports on issues about the minimum wage of employees in the U.S. It notes that under the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act, the secretary of the Department of Labor had specified the need for manufacturers of work clothes that fill government orders to pay a minimum wage of 37.5 cents an hour.
