Stand up for science.

In this article the author discusses the importance of good communication among scientists in the U.S. She recalls the communications training workshop she attended where scientists shared their fears and failures regarding their communication skills toward the media and policy-makers. Moreover, she talks about the relaunch of a climate question-and-answer service by the American Geophysical Union for the United Nations climate discussions in Mexico to address the issues of science.
