Abstract

The article offers a look at the stock performance of the paper industry in the U.S. in 1956. Since the bull market reemerged in 1949, there has been an increase if 8.5 times in paper stocks as a group. Among the companies that form part of the industry are Crown-Zellerbach Corp., International Paper, and Lily-Tulip Cup Corp. Yields on paper stocks range between 2.5 and 3.5 percent.
