The article reports on the uniform and simplified standard of measures for paper set out by the U.S. War Production Board (WPB). Supporters of the plan propose pulp content reduction at 5% in the annual paper tonnage. The proposed standard calls for 1,000 sheets of 25x40 inch in size. However, it points out that the sizes of sheets or rolls of paper ordered from a mill or dealer will not be changed.
