Abstract
- The article presents the economic condition of Prague, Czech Republic, in 1947. It mentions the success of the Two-Year Plan which was ushered in on January 1, 1947, aimed to bring industrial output up to 110 percent of the 1937 level which saw improvements in the output of several basic industries such as the lignite and the paper and woodworking. It also looks at Prague's foreign trade which was said to be in a difficult situation.
